La Fabrique de la paroisse Notre-Dame de Montréal manages two major Montréal institutions: Notre-Dame Basilica of Montréal and Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.

These two organizations offer breathtaking places to work, each in their own way. At the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, you’ll get the opportunity to enjoy the unique natural environment that is the largest cemetery in Canada, located on a historic site in the heart of Mount Royal. Not only will you come across century-old trees and five wooded areas as you walk through its paths, but you’ll also meet many historical figures who have found their final resting place here: Émile Nelligan, La Bolduc, Maurice Richard, Marie Gérin-Lajoie, Brother Marie-Victorin, Idola Saint-Jean, Robert Bourassa, Robertine Barry, René Angélil, and many more.

At Notre-Dame Basilica of Montréal, you’ll get the opportunity to see private areas in this beacon for Montréal tourism, in addition to getting to admire countless works of art and treading on the ground of a historic site that has left its mark on the city’s history. Your workplace will include an impressive hand-painted vault decorated with gold leaf motifs, a collection of stained glass windows depicting the history of the city of Montréal and a baptistery entirely decorated by renowned painter Ozias Leduc.

Expand your career horizons at La Fabrique de la paroisse Notre-Dame de Montréal. In addition to maintaining our institutions’ beauty and reputation, we are continuously adapting to changes in our environment and improving our response to our clientele’s evolving expectations.

Our two institutions support families as they go through key moments in their lives: from baptism, confirmation and marriage to funerals. Part of our staff is devoted to this human contact. In addition, as the population ages, many families are choosing the support we offer to say their final goodbyes to their loved ones.
